Star Russian forward Kirill Kaprizov of the Minnesota Wild shared how he spent the three days off between the second and third games of the Stanley Cup second-round series against the Colorado Avalanche. The Avalanche currently lead the series 2-1.
“If you’re a hockey player, I think you think about hockey every day,” Kaprizov said, as quoted on the NHL’s official website.
The forward admitted that his mindset wasn’t the easiest after the first two games in Denver. “Yeah, especially when you lose two games on the road. You just think about how to beat these guys in the next game,” the Russian added.
In the current playoffs, the 29-year-old Kaprizov has recorded 14 points (4 goals, 10 assists) in nine games, leading the Stanley Cup scoring race.

The third game of the series between Minnesota and Colorado will take place on May 12 at the Wild’s home arena.
